Mark has been a practicing product engineer for over 25 years. He has worked on all phases of the design process. Currently, he also instructs the University of Nebraska's Electrical Engineering Senior Design classes. Mark's expertise includes embedded system development, low power circuit design, electromechanical interfacing, and data analysis and compression.
Khalid has been a faculty member in the Electrical Engineering Department at the University of Nebraska since the first Reagan Administration. Khalid's principal interest is in the search of patterns in data. He indulges this interest by looking at problems in data compression, joint source-channel coding, and various aspects of bioinformatics. He has been known to consult and work with industry during his tenure at the University of Nebraska.
